Chennai, October 15, 2011: ADI BPO plans to strengthen their business through acquisition. According to the officials of the company, the New Delhi-based firm is all set to acquire MPS Ltd at a total consideration of Rs. 37.37 crore. ADI BPO will be closing the deal with a contract, according to which the company will be acquiring 10 million equity shares in MPS Ltd.
Detailing the acquisition the company authorities told that the shares were acquired on the National Stock Exchange. The deal occurred at a price of Rs. 36.15 per share. After the deal ADI BPO will hold a total of 81. 46 percent in MPS Ltd, which is also because of an open offer made to the share holders allowing them to acquire 3.4 million equity shares which all together will come around Rs. 12.44 crore.
The acquisition strategy by ADI BPO is to integrate its current business with the strong market share and experience MPS hold. It is expected that the contract will help the company to have a balanced domestic and international business that could help growth in at much quicker pace.
