Teleperformance expands BPO operations in Jaipur, India

August 9, 2011 – The global outsourcing firm, Teleperformance has announced the opening of their latest center in Jaipur as part of the expansion strategy. This is the fourth center of Teleperformance in the country. It was in 2009 the company underwent a similar expansion and they had an intake of 8000 fresh employees at that time.

The latest center is capable of supporting up to 1,200 additional production centers. This center also has well designed spacious lab facility for enhancing the employee’s talent and deliver innovative solutions for the customers. In house training facility is also provided in the latest center, which is coming up in Jaipur.

As per the company sources, they are planning to invest further in Indian marketing looking at the increasing Indian client base and vast human resource potential available in the domestic market. Teleperformance has also expanded their operations to different countries like Philippines.

With this expansion strategy the company can now deliver quality service not only to domestic but also to the global clients in the BPO sector. The company has made it clear that the new center will be an integral part of the company. It has the capacity to manage more than 250 contact centers and provide high quality support to clients all over the world. It will also help in providing multiple solutions for the global clients.

Teleperformance expansion strategy of combining offshore outsourcing units and domestic units will leverage the delivery of high quality business solutions. According to the sources the company authorities are very excited with the new strategy, as it will enhance the business in the BPO sector of India. The company is also looking forward to expand their functioning units in India in the long run.  

It is a good sign for the Indian BPO sector that US based companies are still interested in investing in the offshore outsourcing market irrespective of the latest developments on identity theft and volatile market trends. The Indian BPO sector has immense scope for business as well as for employment.
